
Marie Lail Blackburn, CMKBD, is an award winning certified master kitchen and bath designer with over 20 years experience in the kitchen and bath industry. She has practiced kitchen and bath design throughout the Puget Sound, and also in Hawaii and California.
She came to Seattle from Hawaii bringing with her a love for the "indoor-outdoor," casually sophisticated lifestyle of the Islands, a deep appreciation of organic materials and natural style, and the design savvy and solutions to integrate this into everyday living for her Seattle clientele.
Marie served as a judge for the 2006 NKBA National design competition; spearheaded the launch of the NKBA Puget Sound Chapter's Great Kitchen + Bath Tour, which is gearing up to present its 5th annual event; and, during her recent tenure as president of the NKBA Puget Sound Chapter, was instrumental in launching the Chapter's highly successful Design Competition. Many of Marie's design projects have been featured in consumer and trade publications, and the media calls on her frequently for insights into industry trends and processes.
